Dress for Success Baltimore's 2nd Annual Fashion Show is a celebration of their clients, supporters and sponsors. This year the theme is "Steppin Out in Style" to serve the Community and will feature supporters that embody the characteristics of the organization's clients who are determined ambitious people on a path to success. Dress for Success' goal is to raise $100,000 to support their programs. The afternoon will feature Celebrity Host and Master of Ceremony, Al Reynolds, and a dazzling array of delicacies, silent auction items and fashions by Luster Products, wearing PINK, and HandBags in the City - defining fashion on the runway.

The excitement is building for the 3rd Annual Baltimore Women's Film Festival!

The festival will be screening a wide variety of shorts, animations, music videos documentaries and features, including films by local and international filmmakers. Don't miss this opportunity to see the work of new up-and-coming talented filmmakers. Many filmmakers will be in attendance to discuss their work!

On Sunday, 10/25, there will be one free event and film screening as a part of Free Fall Baltimore. Advance registration is required for Free Fall Baltimore tickets. The film is She Should Have Gone to the Moon (one of Ann's favorites).

In fact, the Congo Wars have claimed more lives than any other conflict since the end of World War II - yet the crisis has received little attention outside of central Africa. Learn how you can make an impact! So, far, Mt. Elbrus in Russia, Mount Kosciuszko in Australia and Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania have been scaled.

What's coming up? Next on the agenda is Aconcagua in December 2009. At 6,962 meters (22,841 ft), Cerro Aconcagua is the highest mountain in the Americas, and the highest mountain outside Asia. It is located in the Andes mountain range, in the Argentine province of Mendoza. Aconcagua is the highest peak in both the Western and Southern Hemispheres. It is one of the Seven Summits.
