Women Who Serve!
Regardless of how one feels about the war, WomanTalk Live believes the men and women who serve deserve our support.
Currently, about 8% of the U.S. military population serving in Iraq are women.
WomanTalk Live wants the women serving in the Middle East to know that the women in Maryland support them. We will be collecting some of the necessities and niceties to package up and send to our sisters in combat.
Just think about it…most mornings you are able to get up without worrying what’s going to happen to you before you get to the kitchen! You’ll have some breakfast and a cup of coffee, maybe glance over the paper, check out the news, brush your teeth and take a shower. You may even rub down with some nice lotion, put some moisturizer on, and put on some lip gloss. Nice.
Now, consider our women serving in the Middle East… the weather can be very hot or it can even be cold, it’s windy, it’s sandy. And, many of those necessary and nice items we take for granted aren’t readily available for the women. So, those are the things we want to send them for the holidays and on a regular basis after.

Canned meat – no pork products

Beanie babies or small stuffed toys the soldiers can give to the Iraqi children
Collection Points:
WomanTalk Live plans to set up collection drop-off boxes in various locations.

Any On Purpose Networking for Women monthly meeting in Baltimore County, Howard County, Anne Arundel County, or Frederick.
Any Living in Your Heart class. Most classes are taught at Your Prescription for Health in Owings Mills, MD.

With Anna Renault at the CnS Trading Co & Mini Mall ~ 138 Back River Neck Road, Essex, MD 21221. Drop off with Anna on Fridays between 9-5 and Saturdays/Sundays between 7-4. 410.391-1111 (Anna will also be packaging up the items and will gladly accept donations for postage. Flat Rate boxes with insurance cost approximately $11 to mail.)
